A more functional indoor and outdoor space plan was developed with the architect to maximize the clients’ lifestyle. The home was stripped almost completely down to the studs, and every surface was made new. Additional natural light was brought into the core of home, kitchen and master bath via skylights. Furniture plans were developed to meet the clients’ needs for entertaining and to accommodate multiple large screen televisions, a whole house sound system, and current technology while providing comfort and easing day-to-day living. New cabinetry was designed to reduce clutter, and surface finishes selected for practicality and elegance. An essentially neutral palette is accented with pops of color on accent walls and fabrics, cabinetry finishes, and artwork.
