2015 Gold Winner! Bath Category, ASID CA Peninsula Design Awards

The clients’ Powder Bath was very dark, with outdated, traditional Asian-themed details. The client wished to transform into a light and contemporary space, while maintaining some of the Asian influence.

We increased the natural light in the space by maximizing the volume of the room, raising the ceiling while adding a large skylight. The clients’ desire for timeless design with a clean and contemporary Asian influence can be seen in the cabinet details, as well as the integrated stone sink, using the same stone slab as the countertop. The custom steel mirror can be moved up and down to accommodate users of different heights.
